About the Image(s)
We recently planted some small lilies in the front yard to add some color. One of the blossoms had fallen to the ground, so I decided to pick it up and take some images. Taken with my Nikon 104mm macro, I used 15 images to photo stack in photoshop, I cropped, sharpened and then brought into Topaz to add an HDR filter. I'm interested in what you think.

Hi, Lynne.
This a an absolutely beautiful image! Wonderful detail throughout. What caught my interest immediately was the gentle flow effect you arranged the blossom into to take its picture. The color tones also very attractive.
Great job!

I agree with Janet on this one. Great detail. I think it would be fun to play around with the composition on this one. Maybe rotate to the right to get the main grouping (stamens and pistil) maybe at about 2 o'clock. I would also like to see a fine border on the image. Great image   Posted: 06/12/2022 20:29:07
Dick, I really like this crop - brings a lot of movement to the image. Thanks!   Posted: 06/13/2022 16:28:23
Hi Lynne,
Welcome and thank you for this fascinating image. I find it very interesting and think about how many times a fallen blossom is overlooked and simply discarded. This image encourages me to appreciate it as something beautiful and interesting! The lighting is very pleasing to me and the result of the focus stacking seems ideal.
I too, like the suggestion of movement conveyed by Dick's modification.   Posted: 06/21/2022 12:50:04
