Our Rhine River cruise began with three days in the Swiss Alps, staying in Bern at the Bellevue Palace Hotel, with the red roof and columns, which is next to the Parliament building, prominently featured with green domes and Swiss flags. I photographed this from the bridge over the Aare River. Yes, it’s a tourist shot – but this was my first time.
In Photoshop, I cropped some from the right side and top, corrected the keystone distortion with the perspective crop tool, used Camera Raw filter dehaze, vibrance, adjusted highlights, reduced shadows, then used Topaz DeNoise AI and Topaz AI Sharpen.

Hi Jim
Love the image and the processing. Not much to say other than I think I would let the trees frame the bottom of the image ie would crop off the road. It attracts my eye and I don't t hink you need it   Posted: 11/01/2023 18:40:30

Mark, I agree. If there isn't enough of the Aare River, it's not worth the distraction of the road. How's this?   Posted: 11/02/2023 10:55:51

Jim, I think your second cropping is perfect, I agree with Mark, nice image. No other suggestions.   Posted: 11/04/2023 09:22:53

Jim, your second cropping is definitely much better. I played with your image a bit in Camera Raw to see how it might look with more contrast and color in the trees. When I finished, I decided that I liked yours better. Nonetheless, I've attached what I came up with.

As all have agreed, the bottom crop is essential   Posted: 11/07/2023 14:16:27

I agree with the crop. I prefer the original to Pete's version.   Posted: 11/08/2023 02:41:30
