About the Image(s)

I used this image for fun this month taken at my tennis club when youngsters were being taught the game. I know this is not as sharp as it should be so it certainly isn't an exhibition entry but I just love the way these two little boys, with racquets almost as big as they are, seem to be planning their next move and I just wanted to share it with you. I used Topaz to try to bring up the face of the little boy. I can think of a dozen different titles but this one, in my mind, seemed fitting

HI Barbara this is uber cute so we have to fall in love with it. The softness in the original is a bit distracting so I think the sharpening is an improvement although I would reduce the effect on the back of the RHS boy because of the artefacts there. Looks like you used something to extend the frame on the LHS and I would suggest a bit more of it...at any rate for me it's the kind of image that can have a central subject.   Posted: 11/01/2023 18:25:46

The word that comes to my mind is "charming"! I love images that greet me with emotional impact, and this one fits that criteria perfectly. Well seen!

Barbara, you caught a moment between these two young players that let's our imagination run with it. Thank you for letting us enjoy this. Great photograph for "filling in the blank."
I like the soft shadows, and how they show how their tennis rackets and clothes are too big for them. Just wait. Jim   Posted: 11/04/2023 11:07:29

Barbara, this is a really cute image of two young boys discussing tennis strategies. I used a PS neural filter to create a depth-of-field focus. I then selected the face of the little boy on the left to lighten and add a touch of red to make it a little rosier.   Posted: 11/04/2023 16:48:46

Perfect moment! Are you going to print and give it to them? I like Rick's adjustments - nothing to add. I have never used that filter so I have to learn it! I believe the boy to the left was telling his friend.. stay strong you got this!   Posted: 11/05/2023 11:56:22

Nice image Barbara. I think Richard has improved it. I cannot see how it can be improved further.   Posted: 11/08/2023 02:31:05
