GIRAFFE PARKING ATTENDANT by Nick Muskovac, FPSA, MPSA

June 2021 - GIRAFFE PARKING ATTENDANT

About the Image(s)

GIRAFFE PARKING ATTENDANT
DESC: I enjoyed putting this creative image together with its many parts. To make the giraffe parking garage, a giraffe rug was made from giraffe skin. Then, giraffe poles were added, using Andromeda 3D. I put my spouse Ann in the driver's seat of a corvette. Ann is wearing a giraffe skin blouse and we also have a giraffe skin license plate.

This is a fun piece of conceptual art. It is engaging and entertaining, a great discussion piece. I can't really comment on the processing techniques as I haven't a clue about work of this nature. I imagine it would be quite commercial and certainly passes the "hang it on the wall" test (for certain walls!).   Posted: 06/02/2021 10:30:08

An excellent piece of work Nick. In the short time I have been a member of the group this, for me, is your best.   Posted: 06/03/2021 05:13:22

Could not pass this one by when browsing this month's images. What a super image Nick - you always manage to raise a smile with your creative work. Excellent work with the various giraffe elements and beautiful colour contrast with the car.   Posted: 06/09/2021 10:01:58

WOW! Very creative. I love the colors - a very nice composite. The perspective seems a bit off, however, with the giraffe looking a little too small standing next to the car… but in a whimsical composition like this, it doesn't really bother me. I just think of him as a dwarf giraffe! Very fun image.   Posted: 06/10/2021 00:17:04

Nick this has to be one of the best giraffe images that you have presented. They are always fun. I am not sure I see or like the addition of the two vertical poles, or am I missing the point of them being there?   Posted: 06/13/2021 13:50:50

Barbara, the poles are there to help guide the car into its parking spot. It took quite an effort to make the poles. They are made of giraffe skin and were made into 3D by a special program called Andromeda 3D.   Posted: 06/14/2021 15:21:39

Nick, this image is beyond words creative and extremely well done. But then again, from you I would expect nothing less.   Posted: 06/17/2021 05:57:50
