Ruth, a very nice capture of a stunning scene. Great leading lines and textural variation in the image. Including the hikers in the frame gives a sense of scale and your panoramic crop further emphasizes the vastness of the area. Nicely done. Lovely landscape, Ruth; I like the black and white version as well. The added snow transforms the scene, adding texture and contrast that makes this location unique for a viewer like me. The hikers add perspective/scale and add impact. You have a nice sky with some details, and the overall color palette appears natural; all typical of your style of photography.

The inclusion of 2 people heading to the dunes after the snowstorm makes this image so compelling and interesting! I like the way you captured them in the white ground area, with a bit of separation between them and between the base line of the sand dunes. They also give a sense of scale to the vast scene. The drama clouds adds additional impact. It's a very interesting image, and I don't have any suggestion for improvement.
