Sometimes I think I would like to trade my camera in for the best iPhone. How enjoyable that would be to not tote the heavy thing. I love the covered bridges in the USA. Each with a historical plaque explaining when it was built and how long it is. My wife and I spent a day or so driving around Pennsylvania searching for covered bridges the last time we were in the USA. They are beautiful.
You had a nice bright day to take this image and it is nicely composed. I love the way the water coming over the weir mimics the vertical timbers of the bridge. Maybe that could be an image in itself.
Your image looks as though it was taken in the late morning and I have to wonder what light effects there might have been in the early morning or evening.
