Sweet picture, Hung. The contrast of the birds against the rocks really makes the colors pop. Their necks, to me, appear to be a little fuzzy. What was your f-stop? Also, I would like to see the full birds.   Posted: 12/01/2021 21:03:03

I think the image would be better if the background was lightened. Because it is so dark you lose the black end of the beak and this makes the head look strange. I love their position together and would like to see what an image would be like using the entire bird body as well. This is a great start but I think there are some details that would make it even better!   Posted: 12/07/2021 06:19:38

Hung, so good to see your talents at work. We have some Flamingos like that near here and the challenge is to find a good pose and background without interference from other birds in the flock - so yours is a good capture. Knowing that others in the group could do a better job - I decided to jump in and try some things on the jpeg. I mostly used clone stamp and camera raw filter to selectively darken, de-shadow and brighten and also added saturation for the birds and more black for the beak.   Posted: 12/07/2021 10:50:30

Nice image, Hung. I do like the edits that Piers has done to lighten the background and clone out the extra legs of other birds. As others have said, seeing the entire birds would greatly improve the image. Flamingos are a difficult subject to capture as they are seldom alone or standing still.   Posted: 12/07/2021 12:03:22

Hung,
Your image, as presented, has the bird on the left with 4 legs, while the one on the right has 3 legs. So, my though tis that you've used Photoshop to remove the upper portions of 2 birds, but forgot to do the same fr the lower extremities.
I like what you are trying to acheive. It is tough.
I do like what Piers has done to remove the extra legs, their refelections, and brighten the background.   Posted: 12/22/2021 16:01:43
