About the Image(s)
This was taken at our local zoo. They have 2 eagles that are missing part of their left wing and can not be acclimatized to the wild. This one was a very nice model for me and was close to the viewing area.

A wonderful portrait of the eagle. Just look into those eyes!!!   Posted: 05/05/2023 16:06:07
So often in a zoo we are looking through a fence. It appears that you had intimate conversation with this bird. Your technique for blurring the background with a low f/stop worked well. The background colors are great and the bird is perfectly done. Good work.   Posted: 05/13/2023 16:37:50
I'm not picking a fight with this guy! This is a great shot.
Everything about the bird is in focus with no distractions elsewhere. The eyes are fascinating.   Posted: 05/16/2023 10:33:24

Good shot! focus, detail, spot on.
My eye gets drawn away from the Eagle by the soft glowing orange in the background.   Posted: 05/17/2023 13:53:07

A really compelling image because the eyes are so riveting and are placed perfectly in the frame. Great detail in the feathers both those in the dark areas as well as the very lite ones.   Posted: 05/18/2023 08:17:26
It's a very nice eagle portrait. All details and the sharpness of the eyes can be seen obviously with well balanced lighting arrangement.   Posted: 05/25/2023 02:13:35
