Olive-backed Sunbird by Than Sint, MPSA, SPSA, AFIAP

May 2022 - Olive-backed Sunbird

About the Image(s)

I visited Botanic Garden, Singapore in May 2020 and photographed many sunbirds. Olive-backed Sunbird is a very common bird in Singapore, but very cute.
I used the Sony A9 body with Sony G 200-600mm lens.
200-600@600mm, f/6.3, 1/2000s, iso 2000

nice job! My first temptation was to say that there's too much space at the left but, the more I looked at it, the more I liked it!

Another great bird image with great definition in the feathers, great color, and simplicity of presentation.   Posted: 05/11/2022 15:59:15

Another perfect image from you. Nothing to add or subtract, really.   Posted: 05/13/2022 07:17:18

Wow! Love this. Such great definition in both the bird and the flower. You have some very interesting birds in Singapore.   Posted: 05/16/2022 12:10:21

I think it looks great like all of your bird shots. This should help you move on from your newly earned MPSA. I do think that I might have cropped a little off the left side but it is probably acceptable the way it is.   Posted: 05/21/2022 18:37:46
