About the Image(s)

Canon SL1, 100mm Macro, 1/500 @ f/8.0, ISO 1600
I was checking out the Sensory Garden at our Zoo to see what kind of critters might be hanging out around the flowers. There weren't as many as I thought but it was quite hot when I was there. I did a bit of tweaking with Luminar AI and cropping to get this.

Symmetry of the legs make this image in my opinion. Color, Contrast and, sharpness are spot on. I do like the cropping for composition. Good work.

Thanks Chuck,

I thought that it needed to be symmetrically done since it was facing me. It didn't look very well any other way.   Posted: 09/05/2021 15:12:51

I like the image Dennis. The only suggestion I can make is to remove the spot on the leaf, on the right side, near the front leg. I also cropped some off the top, which makes the bee stands out a little more. This what I got.   Posted: 09/08/2021 11:48:12

I really like this, Dennis. The colors are great. The eyes and spots on the flower are in focus. MAYBE crop a bit off the top   Posted: 09/08/2021 12:08:50

Lots of color. Nice focus on the bee and the flower. I do prefer the top cropped off a bit. Reduces some of the busyness of the background.   Posted: 09/13/2021 12:17:00

What a dynamic color explosion with there Bumbler competing for territory in this photo. The two subjects work well together in this photo.   Posted: 09/19/2021 16:00:25

It is a unique macro image with bright technicolor. Clear eyes, head and legs with pollen are the most attractive. I like it.   Posted: 09/20/2021 21:40:25

This is so sharp and brilliant which makes the crop off the top a good suggestion. Nice work and execution. Curious...how close were you and how much cropping was necessary to get what you achieved?
