June 2021 - Just Hanging Out

About the Image(s)

There's something cozy about these two birds which I tried to capture. The tree and branch were at interesting angles. Colors are not complex and the background is darkened and rather simple.

A very interesting image. The faces are nice and sharp. My only suggestion is to darken or remove the whit spot on the trunk of the tree.   Posted: 06/09/2021 13:34:58

I like how the birds are just hanging, in the frame. Lighting and shooting angle are spot on too.   Posted: 06/12/2021 16:27:32

Lovely photo. nice and sharp. I might darken the light on the tree trunk a bit.   Posted: 06/17/2021 08:01:02

Nice image! Great feather detail. What are they? Agree about the little white spot and maybe tone down the branch behind them. And, if possible, bring up the eye on the right hand bird a little. Not easy to get a shot of a pair of birds side by side like that. Well done.   Posted: 06/17/2021 17:53:55

Very rare image! Please reduce highlight of the big stem behind the little birds slightly so that eyes may focus the birds more conveniently. It is just my thought and suggestion. The whole image represents the love of the nature. It is very meaningful image.   Posted: 06/21/2021 23:35:58

I like the detail that you have here. You even managed to get a catch light in the eyes of both of the birds.   Posted: 06/22/2021 08:09:07

What a great capture. I was particularly impressed with the colors and their contrast. The tree adds a lot to the image.
I thought it might be improved if there was less contrast. I opened up the tails of the birds and some of the tree with color dodging. I then darkened the white areas of the tree and removed the annoying (to me) the shadow of the beak of the bird.   Posted: 06/23/2021 15:01:16
