About the Image(s)

This image was taken in my "darkroom" Light was from three sources and some reflections were left in place while others were removed. The background is a black velvet and I elected to let it appear slightly.

Wonderful image. I am so tempted to steal a cherry, my favorite fruit.   Posted: 06/02/2021 09:23:55

Excellent real image. Every setting is just right. The detail in the foreground slowly washes out as your eye gos to the background leaving your eye on the bowl of fruit.   Posted: 06/05/2021 14:29:52

Very sharp image, you can almost see the fuzz on the peach. Bev's comment about wanting to steal cherry, I haven't seen any in our house as yet.   Posted: 06/09/2021 13:30:21

Dennis and Neal must have gotten their images mixed up this month! Well done table top with good choice of colors for the main subject. Technically specs look spot on.   Posted: 06/13/2021 13:00:54

Very nice. I've never seen photos shot with a black velvet background. Gives me ideas. You did well with the reflections.   Posted: 06/17/2021 08:02:59

Yum! So summer! Love how sharp the fruit is and with dimension. I know you chose to leave a little of the black velvet visible, but my eye keeps wandering over to the lower left and it is a little bit distracting. But, the fruit is so strong that is is a nit picking detail.   Posted: 06/17/2021 17:28:36

Wow! It looks like real ones on the table. I highly appreciate the color tone, highlight and shadow, DOF approach. I really like this image. It should be commercial photograph.   Posted: 06/21/2021 23:22:04

This is great. I like that you left details in the velvet showing. Your lighting works out well. I might have toned down or removed the arc of reflections in the top apple.   Posted: 06/22/2021 07:45:41
