About the Image(s)
These pictures show monsoon photos of a storm moving into a Grand Canyon trail before I had a chance to run for shelter. Thus I was in a hurry - hairs were rising with impending lightning and I wanted to get out of the Canyon quickly. I had my waterproof Olympus Tough TG5 from my rafting trip set it on automatic so I could just point and shoot as I walked uphill and captured the scene.
The first one here shows the postprocessing editing in Lightroom where I attempted to better clarify the rainfall and texture of the descending skies; the other shot titled 'original' is what was immediately captured.
I think I could do better in post-processing beyond tweaking the exposure, details, and some saturation and I appreciate any pointers for future shots.
