About the Image(s)
While looking for spring black bears on Long Beach Peninsula in Washington state, I took this photo of a bald eagle. With the ocean in the background and getting down at eye level in the prone position, I was able to get off several good shots. I'm partial to cropping for a tight portrait. Feedback on the crop would be greatly appreciated.

Mark, Very nice portrait of the bald eagle. Every feather of the bird stands out.You even have a catch light in its eye. I like the crop for the portrait. Beautiful image!   Posted: 04/09/2021 14:11:55

Eagle month in Group 94. Fantastic portrait, but I also like the original as well. Those feet and claws are so big, reminds us how dangerous they are to their prey. I'm totally jealous between Sarita, Judy and you all showing me the splendor of eagles.   Posted: 04/16/2021 16:29:32
