Jeff, This is a terrific image. Well exposed and composed. My only comment is that I'd like to see a bit more definition in the background mountain range. I made some adjustments in LrC to determine if it was possible, using dehaze and clarity with a grad filter. Out of respect for creative integrity, I'm not going to post it, but you might want to try it yourself.   Posted: 11/03/2020 13:27:41

Hi Jerry, Thanks for the comment. I didn't really want to dehaze the mountain, as I felt it was less interesting than the dunes.   Posted: 11/08/2020 18:47:21

And THAT is what art is all about!! You're the image maker so YOU get to decide what it looks like!   Posted: 11/10/2020 12:41:55

I love it leading lines are everywhere. The color and shades of brown are amazing.   Posted: 11/08/2020 18:16:04

Really well done Jeff. I like the contrast between the smoother sand with the leading lines guiding my eye to the ruggedness of the mountains.   Posted: 11/11/2020 12:44:04

For me this photo has a strong impact. I like the contrast of the smooth dunes with the curving lines and shadows in the foreground as compared to the sharp lines of the mountains in the background. I am also impressed with the color contrast with the light browns of the dunes against the dark redish browns of the mountains. I think the composition is well done with the dunes being the primary area on interest for me and they occupy the most of the frame while the lines in the dunes draw my eye into the image and lead me back to the mountains.
