August 2020 - On Ohio Pass, From Crested Butte to Gunnison Colorado

About the Image(s)

Ohio Pass is a left turn off Kebler Pass, better known for the clonal colony of Aspen (perhaps the largest living creature on the planet). There is not much there, now, but in its day, it was home to cattle ranchers and miners.

Very nice black & white of the old west as most of us visualize it. Leading line of the fence to the tree which leads my eyes to the clouds in the sky which curves back to the cabin. Well done Paul.   Posted: 08/02/2020 14:31:48

It is a nice BW image and good composition. I am wondering if this is the original or it was cropped both on the left and the right portion? I wish you could reveal more of the left portion.   Posted: 08/09/2020 11:21:42

You are inspiring me to try B/W photography, so thank you. This works great as a B/W because of the subject matter. Like Michael said the leading lines do take you on a tour of the photograph.   Posted: 08/10/2020 18:47:24
