April 2021 - Mirror Reflection

About the Image(s)

The photo was taken way back in 2014 during my trip to Japan. It shows a mirror image of shoppers in the busy district of Ginza in Tokyo.
Taken with Nikon 1 V1 at ISO 800, 1/2500sec, f5.6 30mm

Nice image but a bit dark. I created a non destructive layer mask and attempted to brighten the main subject's face a bit as
well as the jacket of the young lady in the mirror.

A very interesting perspective. I know it is way too late to get that girl on the outside left (right)in the picture because she is really wondering what the heck you are doing there. Fun pictue. Agree it is dark and underexposed. Beverly has sure made it better.   Posted: 04/04/2021 18:26:13

I love how this shot goes well with the reflection. I see it as displaying a unique sense of reality. The black and white is also a good fit.   Posted: 04/06/2021 08:35:29

I love the composition and the B&W rendering is perfect. I think this is one of those sort of unsettling images. At first I thought the woman on the left should have been included in the image, after looking at the image longer I am happy that she is not. I think just having a hint of her adds some mystery to the image.   Posted: 04/11/2021 16:05:35
