About the Image(s)

While in Paris a couple of years ago I was riding around on one of the double decker tour buses and enjoying the sights . I had my camera ready because there were quite a few interesting subjects. I spotted this woman and had to quickly grab the shot. I like the image but I wish I would have gotten her foot in the photo, of course with street photography you can't always get what you want.

In Lightroom I cropped the right side to get rid of the person there and I increased the exposure by 2 stops and I added some sharpness.

This is such a great street photo! Tells the story of the neighborhood, the people , the culture. I can even imagine buying some candy. Great capture. Love it! Would have been nice to have both feet in the photo, but since you were on a moving bus, amazing!   Posted: 08/03/2020 09:23:23

Good street capture. I see a story here with the woman and her dog. What I see as a standout is that she and the dog are each looking in a different direction. Makes one wonder what caught their eye.   Posted: 08/05/2020 21:46:28

Lovely capture but there is a lot going on in the backgorund of the woman and dog. Would a tighter crop with defocus of the background make a stronger image? I had a quick play in PS - what do you think?   Posted: 08/06/2020 20:58:49

Hi Geoff, I like your rendition of the image. I think I like it better than my original but I am not sure. I often have a difficult time determining which of two or three similar images I prefer. Thanks very much for your input.   Posted: 08/07/2020 08:37:50

Great street photo tells a great humorous story! I like the candy shop in the background but maybe cropping out the individual on the left ,I do not feel that they add to the story of the person and her dog.   Posted: 08/09/2020 12:15:34
