About the Image(s)

Caught this dichotomy on the shore of the Delaware river in Camden NJ. Where a historical tour guide was being flirted with while the young coupe next to them were too busy to notice.

Wow, what a dichotomy this is for sure! This would be a great cover for a magazine.
I am really big on legs and feet, I have been taught they are part of the story. So I would have maybe left more in, but I like the focus on the 4 individuals. Great photo!!   Posted: 08/03/2020 09:26:30

I prefer the tight crop I felt pulling out more would detract from the intimacy of the image.   Posted: 08/09/2020 12:10:04

Hello Orest, I agree about the dichotomy, the juxtaposition of young love and not so young love. I think you have done a good job with the composition, I do agree with Marianne about the feet. That being said I don't mind too much not being able to see them. I don't see a better place to crop the bottom of the image and if you included the feet I think the image would be less intimate. I believe you have done a fine job with the image.   Posted: 08/03/2020 16:31:14

I like how the title and the image match. I see two separate stories playing out here with a good composition.   Posted: 08/05/2020 21:48:00

I think this is a nice capture illustrating the generations. I think the image is a bit dark and low contrast, and could be brightened up in post processing - I had a quick play in PS. What do you think?   Posted: 08/06/2020 21:24:04

My personal preference lies toward darker images but I see the benefit of lightening up this image, thanks!   Posted: 08/09/2020 12:11:08

Subject matter tells great stories, love it. I agree it is a bit dark but the lightening makes the background a bit busy, perhaps lighten image then add vignette.   Posted: 08/09/2020 02:33:58
