About the Image(s)

Canon EOS R6. 1/3000 sec at f/5.6, ISO 6400. Sigma Lens DG OS HSM Contemporary @ 267 mm (150-600mm f5-6.3). I smooth out the noise and pixels in Lightroom by moving the dehaze slider to left about 20 and mask out the bird.

Looks like quite a conversation going on! The out of focus background really makes the birds stand out! Great focus.   Posted: 03/03/2023 19:41:05

Great Bokeh. Really sets your subject up. I like how the vine provides a lading line for both birds, and also the different actions of the birds. Nicely done. I can't see any way to improve the image.   Posted: 03/11/2023 15:44:29

Hi Jack. I apply different trick I learned from my photography mentor here. Instead of sharpening my main subjects (the birds). I purposely apply a bit of haze to the background and unsharp the vine. This would make my main subject look sharper.   Posted: 03/24/2023 01:25:28

Great capture. Agree with other comments. Looking at the wings on the landing bird, it appears that there are two birds, one behind the other.   Posted: 03/17/2023 08:13:48

Thanks for the background haze trick Frans. I'm going to try that.   Posted: 03/24/2023 07:07:08
