April 2021 - Trumpeter Swans Heading North

Sony A1, Sony 200-600mm @ 518mm, ISO 640, 1/2000th of sec. Processed through Topaz Giga Pixel. Was lucky to catch the last of the Swans that winter in the neighborhood and head up to the Arctic Circle for summer breeding. They literally did a circle of my location then headed across the open waters
of the Strait of Juan de Fuca for Canada and points north.

Somehow you have captured that this is a journey. I think it is the expanse of sky and the out of focus mountains but I know they are on a trip! Beautiful. Posted: 04/04/2021 13:31:59
