This image is technically correct and your caption is so very appropriate. However, having been participating in a gzillion club competitions lately, I have to be honest, I doubt that it would score well because of the position of the bird, although it does deserve more than just a pass by a judge. I ALWAYS say I shoot for myself but find myself thinking about the judges.   Posted: 02/04/2021 10:24:30

Is it a great blue? Too bad that he didnt raise his head but the photo is great. The focus and details are crisp and the focus is on the two types of feathers. I also like the reflection and clarity there.   Posted: 02/05/2021 14:48:33

I like it as an abstract wildlife. I don't believe you have to have the face and eyes included to make an interesting image.   Posted: 02/05/2021 19:49:45

Interesting capture, wish that I could see the head and face.   Posted: 02/09/2021 21:31:00

I like the reflection and the feathers come across very crisp. Nicely done.   Posted: 02/12/2021 14:38:43

I like this photograph. It is all about the feathers. Sometimes the viewer has to fill in the blanks.   Posted: 02/17/2021 16:07:27
