About the Image(s)

Suggestions, please! I took this photo of the white bats in Costa Rica (they sleep during the day under leaves - they close to protect themselves.). I was using a Canon PowerShot SX60 HS (couldn't carry my T2i and 400 zoom but I am back to both!) using 800 ISO. The photo was altered in Lightroom.

Can you suggest anything to make it a better photo?

Hi Ginny,
What lovely bats. to my eye, the fur is rather white and the lighting does not pick out the texture. Perhaps you could bring out more fur texture by dropping the exposure/dropping the highlights, and increasing the clarity/texture (in ACR or LR). I had a play with the small image on the DD website - attached.   Posted: 12/10/2019 00:46:55

This little guy is adorable! I like the original photo where you gain perspective on just how tiny these bats are.   Posted: 12/20/2019 15:00:01
