Nice shot the Hornbill looks sharp and your crop from the original helps a lot. The background is not helping and id distracting - much like my Raven shot a while back, but I understand completely that your going to take the photograph regardless - so good for you.   Posted: 11/14/2020 13:45:55

One of my favourite species of birds - Hornbill. Such a majestic bird and even royal glide when it flies.... You have done a great job considering the angle of the bird and background you had. One side of my brain actually likes the fuzzy background and other side thinks its distracting. Irrespective, it is a sharp and nice photo of a majestic bird in its habitat.   Posted: 11/21/2020 08:49:14

A very nice capture with an unfortunate distracting background. i t may be worth your time to darken or replace the background in Lightroom or photoshop.   Posted: 11/22/2020 10:01:21

Thank you very much for the comments, I am also a little in doubt about the background, good idea to make it darker.   Posted: 11/23/2020 03:18:50
