Good Morning Margaret,

Nice photograph. I like this shot. I don't know how to shoot macro photography so take my comments with that in mind. My first impression is that you did a very nice job framing the shot. The flower is the subject, hence should occupy the frame. It is nicely centered. A subject does not often survive well being centered but this one does. I like the exposure. However, I see a couple of spots of blow out. I think they could be treated in post processing. I would do it with fill, content aware option. That is not a big deal. There are other tools to easily use too in Photoshop. I personally like the leaves, the greenery, darkened out in the background. Now, I think you could have toned down either the ISO, or increased the shutter speed in order to decrease the brightness. The white is a bit too bright for my eye. But not very much at all. It is a very nice shot!   Posted: 09/14/2020 10:29:23

A nice macro shot. Perhaps a little lower camera angle would have captured more clearly the center of the flower.   Posted: 09/15/2020 20:10:17

Nice picture of the flower with good details and nice with the dark background, I have nothing to complain about.   Posted: 09/19/2020 11:03:34
