About the Image(s)

In November 2017, I attended a photography workshop in Costa Rica. Our second venue was in the mid-elevation “Wet” forest near Arenal Volcano. One evening we shot macro with a variety of frogs. This image of a red-eyed tree frog was my favorite for that night. I love the colorful markings, the profile pose, and of course, those gorgeous red eyes.

Technical: 1/200 sec, Flash, f/16, ISO 400, 105 mm.

Hi Glenn

What I liked : Stunning image documentation. It is in its natural habitat, and also sharp image with all colors. Love the way its holding on to the top of the plant/weed.

What would I like to see : Flash light has created some additional spots, did you use any soft box ? That is the only small piece I might want to point at.

Great picture!

I like the shot and great color. Light looks a tad bright and I can see something in the left bottom background. Maybe using the black slider a but would take out the background.

I am told that workshops do not allow you to spend the time that one would want otherwise a cool photo.   Posted: 01/27/2020 23:26:34
