For me this image is very "soothing" and it is easy to imagine being there. I believe that you have chosen an f/stop and shutter speed that yield good sharpness in the rocks and sky while yielding a nice smooth blur to the water. I think that the cloud trails in the sky and the shape of the blurred foam in the water work to balance the rocks on the left. To my eye the foam and center rock serve to draw in and hold the viewer's eye.

I feel that the balance could have been improved IF you could have gotten the camera to a point where the rocks were closer to center - if that was at all possible.

For me it would be great to learn more about your post-processing so that all of us can benefit the work that you did to achieve this final image.   Posted: 10/07/2019 11:05:00

A beautiful image Sumit. I really like the way that the sky turned out after your processing. This image had a great feel to it.   Posted: 10/11/2019 13:23:18

Really like your PP on this image, kudos!Dust specs need to be cleaned up. I would crop it to a 5x4 with the right rock on the 1/3rd frame rule. Really nice capture and in-camera decisions!   Posted: 10/12/2019 14:38:22

Sumit, the soft yellows in the sky complement the pastel subtle blues of the water. Your slow shutter speed nicely smoothed out the water. The rocks anchor the image and add visual as well as emotional contrasts. Great work.   Posted: 10/12/2019 22:16:55

Gary:I processed this image in Lightroom .I have increased the warmth and added some red tint to it.I have added couple of brush filters to dehaze the sky, smooth the water and increase the clarity of the rocks.I am bit unhappy with extra blue tone of the lee filters even if its a very good piece of glass.

Trey:I agree about the dust.I had to send my camera for cleaning after this due the extra dark spots.I like your version of the image and looks more compact.
Thanks Charles and Scott   Posted: 10/13/2019 00:22:09
