About the Image(s)

HOW CALIBRACHOA EXPLOSION WAS CREATED—FEB 2021–PAT CENTENO

Shot on iPhone July 27, 2018. ISO 64, f/1.8, 1/120sec, 4.00mm, HDR setting.

I got this plant that looks like a mini Petunia on my birthday. I was able to ascertain the shooting data in PS Express.

I had just downloaded a new app that had interesting splash paint effects, called Drip Art Effects. (Although it was one of those that requested a Facebook sign-in, it wasn’t required to try it.) After it let me crop, I tried each preset on my photo and settled on this splashy look under the ART tab. Every few moves I made were followed by a wait for each annoying game or ad to load—just a warning. My patience was rewarded and I found I could move my image to a more advantageous position within the effect. I followed up with Image Size app.

WOW! Decidedly eye catching! It reminds me of both fireworks and the Indian colour celebrations at the same time! I like the dark background. it really sets off your subject.   Posted: 02/08/2021 23:01:45

The colors of the splash paint effect match nicely with the colors of the flowers. That also created a strong impact to your image. Very creative and well done!
