As I've indicated before, our next-door neighbor has some amazing flowers in her garden. This is one of her clematis (Original 1). Took it into Snapseed to adjust the tones, Then into Mirror Lab, under Complex, selecting Kaleidoscope and playing with the settings. Suggestions?

Tom, your original image has good detail so that when you cropped right in and added the FX we can now see the most amazing detail and wonderful patterns.
The centre of the flower looks almost like a sci/fi animal/plant!.
No Suggestions. Love it as it is!   Posted: 09/07/2020 02:06:05

Why thank you, Phill! I have a few other renditions, but this one really stood out for me. d:¬{D   Posted: 09/07/2020 17:45:53

Why thank you, Marilyn. And here I was thinking it wasn't quite there yet. d;¬{D   Posted: 09/10/2020 11:44:37

Beautiful flower! Your work on this brings out the amazing detail of this flower. Good color and sharpness. Wonder if this flower is easy to grow...   Posted: 09/10/2020 11:39:57

Thanks, Ruth. I'll check with my neighbor when I see her next about what care is involved. I can tell you it's a vine that climbs her trellis. This is actually the first year I saw these in her yard, so she may have just planted it this spring.   Posted: 09/10/2020 11:43:27

You discovered Mirror Lab! Fun! This is beautiful and one needs to look carefully to see that it is not a single bloom but a magnificent kaleidoscope version. Nicely done!   Posted: 09/11/2020 06:53:08

That's a great-sounding title, Tom. And you definitely created an attractive kaleidoscope in the flower.   Posted: 09/18/2020 12:59:31

One of the things I like about clematis is that it reminds me of kaleidoscope images just as they are. To me, the challenge was to take it a step further, yet still look to the eye as a real flower. d;¬{D   Posted: 09/18/2020 13:32:20
