About the Image(s)

Image Title: Calla Lily
Deion: I took those calla lily flowers at a public garden a few months ago using iphone XR.
I enhanced the color of my image and crop it using Snapseed. I resize it using online tools (resizeimage.net).

HI Kieu-Hanh, your image is a bit small for us to actually see it up close. Next time you could send a larger image...it just needs to be under 1 mb!
The lilies Have wonderful back lighting and I love how it is showing through the base of the flowers. Beautiful light!   Posted: 09/07/2020 01:11:03

The lighting is very nice. I would have loved to see a closeup of one of the calla lilies with that same lighting. Personally, I probably would have done a little curves adjustment. The colors are looking a bit oversaturated on my monitor.   Posted: 09/10/2020 07:34:45

A nice grouping of Calla Lilies. Good lighting and color. If you are having problems with resizing, try making the longest side of the image 768 pixels; this will come out under 1mb.   Posted: 09/10/2020 10:55:01

Very pretty image. I love the lighting through the throats of the flowers! The colors directly behind the group seem a bit too bright to me, so I would adjust the lighting and saturation there. You could use Snapseed's Select tool for that. I also might add a vignette to help keep the eye drawn to flowers and away from background. You are lucky to grow these!   Posted: 09/11/2020 06:03:02

These are one of my favorite flowers. I like their off-beat shape, since so many flowers are perfectly symmetrical. Yours seem to glow in the sunlight. You can do a lot with Snapseed.   Posted: 09/18/2020 12:05:40

I'm with Pat when it comes to unsymetrical flowers - they have more character and story.

Agree with the others about the yellow flowers in the background being too bright. As they've indicated, this can be corrected in Snapseed.

I would love to see your original.   Posted: 09/18/2020 13:13:45
