Our next-door neighbor has some amazing flowers in her garden. This is one of her tiger lilies. Took it into Snapseed to adjust the tones, crop to square, remove a distraction from a neighboring flower in the upper left, and finally add a vignette. Suggestions?

Very striking! I actually see nothing needed. It's a great closeup, and your Snapseed edits handled the background and other elements perfectly. Nicely done in my book!   Posted: 08/06/2020 18:09:26

Hi Tom, it is very eye catching. I like the way you have cropped right in to the flower and removed the distractions of the background with a vignette.

If you wanted to make it really stand out you could blacken that background even further!

I like the way the stamen are quite sharp. Really good detail.   Posted: 08/06/2020 23:52:43

If I had processed this at my desktop, that's exactly what I would have done. d;¬{D   Posted: 08/06/2020 23:57:15

Tom, Snapseed's brush tool for dodge/burn might work for a darker background :-)

The brightness of the flower, the saturation of color and the sharpness are excellent. Well done...   Posted: 08/10/2020 11:29:19
