Bob, you seem to know a lot of great subjects. I think it is sad to see a building like this in decay but it does make a great subject to photograph. I don't know what the surroundings look like but I think the image may be stronger if there were more room to the left and top of the building. That being said I do find this to be an emotional image.   Posted: 03/05/2020 10:17:54

Lou, you are correct. There was a better composition in the video, which I should have used.

In this part of the State, it is more polite and safer to fly over abandoned or wide open areas. Some of my neighbors, in this county, are easily offended by drones, and they are pretty good shots.

Some day, I should practice high key B&W. I read somewhere, in the old days, a photograph needs to evoke emotion. Whether the viewer loves or hates the image, that's good. If the viewer feels nothing, then I failed.   Posted: 03/05/2020 10:58:21

Abandoned places are one of my favorite subjects too. Sad that there are so many of them in our world. But good for photos! I agree with Lou that I would like to see more room to the top and left. And I like your idea of high-key B/W. The building has good contrast, but the yard and grasses could use some more. Nicely done.   Posted: 03/18/2020 10:16:27
