November 2020 - Emerging Granites

About the Image(s)

The image was taken along the South coast of South Australia near a place
called Robe. I liked the sand ripples in the shallow water and to make them
more visible and the image less busy, I "smoothed" the waves. The shot was
taken on a cloudy afternoon so I used a 10 Stop ND filter on a Nikon Z7.
The camera settings were ISO 100, 83 seconds exposure at F11. The focal
length was 35mm

This is so lovely. Simple and yet the balance of colors, textures, and the motion of the water. I really like this a lot.   Posted: 11/09/2020 12:29:47

Beautiful image! I love the effect from the ND filter as it enhances the effect of serenity! The subtleties of the colors and ripples in the water make this a well balanced and composed image.

The ripples in the water are wonderful, and it almost looks mystical to me. Very cool image!   Posted: 11/11/2020 13:29:45
