About the Image(s)

Heeding the sage advice of Prasad and the concurrence of others, I found my original and it has more above/behind the gondola. Please let me know if you think this better...I do! Thank you. Always open to counsel that helps me improve my photography.

Very nice PoV , Though i would have loved to see a bit more of the scene , some space on top of the image might add to the scene . Otherwise a very fine well exposed image   Posted: 03/03/2020 04:19:27

Prasad,
Interesting comment. I actually cropped this tightly thinking the gondola was key, but can add in a bit more at the top. Thank you. I am happy to have the input. Kind of the whole point of doing these monthly images.   Posted: 03/04/2020 14:03:01

Thanks for the uncropped image , i really love it more with the buildings , this tells the story of the importance of the Gondola being the only means of transport in this beautiful place . Now we get more depth in the image which helps the perspective .   Posted: 03/17/2020 22:09:30

I am curious to see what was above the gondola too . But the focus on the gondola especially the reflections make the photo interesting.   Posted: 03/09/2020 05:29:49

Very nice capture of a gondola. Perfect depth of field and the colour tones are interesting. I think the image is well balanced, although Prasad's suggestion of a bit more space on top may add to the image.

Heeding the advice of Prasad and the concurrence of several of you, I offer the original (uncropped) image. Do you think this stronger image? I do! Thank you for your input...anything to help my photography improve is very welcome.   Posted: 03/15/2020 12:36:39

I like the image a lot, but prefer the original, uncropped one. I also wish that it had a little more space on the left side, although I realize it's not always possible. The red seat really draws you in nicely.   Posted: 03/17/2020 12:06:06
