This is a picture of one of my sister’s llamas! He was very curious about what I was doing! They are such great subjects!
I cropped the photo and blurred the background. Any further blurring made the llama look like he was floating, so I kept the blurring to a minimum. I, also, toned down the bright window in the background so it wasn’t so distracting. I love those eyelashes!

Your sister seems to have a lot of exotic animals!!
He really seems to be posing for you. Love the eyelashes and the hairy ears!!! You have done really well blurring the background and I agree with you that any more would have ruined the shot.
Well done.   Posted: 03/01/2023 16:14:26

Interesting photo. You have captured the mischievous look and the sharpness is great. The background being blurred certainly adds to the image. Well done.   Posted: 03/03/2023 14:48:24
Mr T
Interesting photo with clear and sharp detail. I have never been so close to a llama (alpaca). Is it in a farm?   Posted: 03/06/2023 10:23:45
Janet, got to love those Llamas. I like the expression, and your background blur. I personally would like to see a bit mor neck, putting the eyes in that 1/3 line. It glows, and that ia cool.   Posted: 03/09/2023 08:40:15
They are such an. interesting animal. I think you did a good job of capturing its expression. It stands out against the muted background   Posted: 03/13/2023 12:54:52
Those eyelashes are wonderful. Great capture. We have a few club members transitioning to using the iphone 14Pro for images. I'm not sure what the white dots on the right side of the image, coming in a horizontal line, under the eye of the animal are - maybe an artifact. How is the 14pro on noise and higher ISO's?   Posted: 03/20/2023 15:33:31
