About the Image(s)
These are some Mesembryanthemums that I grow in a container in my garden last summer. I think they are also know as African Daisies.
Taken with my Canon R6, 24-70mm lens at 70mm, f/9, 1/30sec and ISO 100
Taken on a lightbox. All I have done is a bit of tidying up and putting a feathered keyline round using a colour from one of the flowers.

Once again, you provide inspiration. I have a lightbox, but have never used it. The placement of the flowers and the stems is excellent. It is all so tack sharp and the varied colours add to the overall effect. Love the use of the keyline. Wonderful image!   Posted: 03/01/2023 09:45:50
Many thanks for your comment, Ralph.   Posted: 03/01/2023 11:28:30

A lovely delicate composition. The soft pink border helps to pull the flowers out of the white background which otherwise would have been overpowering.   Posted: 03/01/2023 10:57:06

Lovely shot of the flowers. They are sharp and the lightbox is perfect for them.
I did not know you could use a feathered key line but it works well. I will have to try it some time. We always learn from each other. Thank you   Posted: 03/01/2023 14:12:12

I really like what you've done with this, Angela! This reminds me of a page out of a botanical book! I never heard of using a light box like this! I will have to give that a try when I have some fresh flowers. I also like the the thin pink keyline. It's just enough to break up the white!   Posted: 03/01/2023 20:29:50
Mr T
Delicate daisies on white camvas. I like also the pink border. The lightbox helped the flowers open as if they were in the sunlight. Congrats!   Posted: 03/06/2023 10:18:58
Angela, a beautiful shot indeed, worthy to sell as a card or postcard. To that effect I suggest a vertical card size crop. But as is, it is very successful. I love the feeling it gives. The only thing that bothers me is the bottom of the stem of the second flower on the left as it floats out there. I suggest you bring it down in the grouping of the other stems. WOW!   Posted: 03/12/2023 20:40:36
This is so beautifully done Angela. I knew it was yours when I spotted it. You handled the highlights so well. The flowers are well detailed and I really appreciate the presentation and the use of the keyline to keep the viewer's eye in the fram.   Posted: 03/20/2023 15:46:54
