About the Image(s)

I took this picture of my sister’s llama, Dr. Dolittle. I liked the backlighting. I used the erase tool in Luminar 4 and I also added a subtle sunburst in the top left corner.
Taken with my Leica V-Lux 3
ISO 100
F 4
1/320
42mm

Great shot!! He looks so aloof!!! Nice he has his ears forward and not bothered by you taking his photo otherwise you could have been in for a smelly time!!!!
I agree with you that the back lighting is great and I like what you have done with the background. His eyes are lovely and sharp and there is just a little fall off of sharpness in his mouth but hardly noticeable.
I wonder if there could have been a bit more room at the top of the image but that is being picky!!
Well done!!   Posted: 11/01/2020 10:45:48

Janet, some faces are just meant to be seen, and this is one of them. I like the backlighting, and you did a masterful job on the background and clean up. Fun, and way to go!   Posted: 11/06/2020 06:08:46

This is a great pic. Yup on space above the ears! But still a great pic.   Posted: 11/10/2020 14:55:47

Lovely Light, and nicely caught on time. Liked his portrait. Perhaps the star burst could have been a bit more evident?   Posted: 11/15/2020 02:41:09

I like the backlighting. Good job on cloning the house out. Very sharp image.   Posted: 11/15/2020 05:33:17
