Lovely well positioned and lit image of the snail. Really like the way the light is accentuating the coils at top of the plant. That area seems to be the sharpest as I find that the snail itself is a bit soft? I like the background which makes the plant really stand out. I find the light area at the top a bit distracting though.   Posted: 10/05/2020 09:51:00

Thank you Angela. I could have normalized the white on top, guess liked the bokeh, so left it as is, since it may indicate habitat of the area.   Posted: 10/12/2020 03:28:49

How lovely. I like the vertical composition and the stem leading me up and around to the snail. The lighting is lovely.   Posted: 10/10/2020 06:00:05

Thanks Cheryl. You are right, the vertical format works better for this as we can show more of the plant. Lighting was awesome as it was seeping through the branches of that forest.   Posted: 10/12/2020 03:29:38

Fantastic picture, the well lit object in contrast with the dark background. Also the colouring of the snail is very pleasing. Did you use a flash on top of the camera?   Posted: 10/11/2020 00:26:14

Thank you Noel for liking the image. Yeah very interesting position of the snail and the . Natural light was seeping thru the trees, but I did have the flash mounted on my camera, need to check if I fired it not. Perhaps not.   Posted: 10/12/2020 03:30:38

Hema, great detail and light, and composition. Snail might be a tad bright in the white, as well as the upper part of the picture. The action and the swirls are wonderful, and interesting, along with the backlit "hairs."   Posted: 10/12/2020 07:39:52

Hema, I really like the composition of this photo. The ing stem is beautiful, but the white patch at the top is a bit distracting for me. I think getting rid of that would be helpful. Great that you saw this lovely shot!   Posted: 10/14/2020 00:20:40
