About the Image(s)

Travelling at present so just accessing an image I’ve taken on the go. This was taken on board a high speed driverless train from the front window on a longish exposure. I liked the effect that I got and felt it summed up lifeā€¦the darks, the brights and the unknown around the corner.

Hi Valerie, I love this type of image. Each is unique. As you explain, there can be meaning in this nominally abstract image. The horizontal lines can represent steps in life and the vertical markings can be significant events and accomplishments. It's a nice analogy. A great way to entertain one's self during a journey. Well done. Karl   Posted: 11/09/2019 11:01:20

I love the impact of this image, and the abstract nature. It is a motion blur, and often Life goes by so quickly, as if in a blur. The tunnel effect has great analogies too. I like the colors and leading lines. Perfect title.   Posted: 11/11/2019 00:22:59

I have used blur photos too, and I find this one particularly effective. Actually, it makes me a bit afraid of what's coming.   Posted: 11/13/2019 21:25:40

I like this minimalist image a lot. The tones and subtle colors are very pleasing, and the boekh adds a touch of mystery. The curving lines lead me from the dark foreground into light that beckens at the bend. I cant wait to see what lies around that bend. What camera etc did you use. Did you do any post processing?   Posted: 11/23/2019 18:30:04
