About the Image(s)

I watched the Charles Needle webinar on macro photos. Then I went to his website and purchased a fascinating book called Impressionistic Photography: A Field Guide to Using Your Camera as a Paintbrush. There are a lot of techniques in it where you set your ISO low, use a 70-300 mm lens and long shutter speeds and then move your camera in various ways to achieve different results. I am just beginning to explore, and this photo is from my first try.

Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, 70-300 mm lens
ISO 100, 80 mm, F/25,0.5 sec.

Superb image Sandra. Wonderful gradation of colors from blue to pink to green. Your final image is much more evocative than your original. Just wondering about that spot in the very top right corner? I have just also taken my first steps down the Intentional Camera Movement path as well. Ian groups 73 & 76   Posted: 10/14/2019 07:22:32

You are quite right to point out the spot. I don't know what it is.   Posted: 10/14/2019 14:27:21
