Awesome catch and a great use of that new 600mm lens!

Details are sharp and lighting is beautiful and perfect.

That blurry bit in the left corner is a little unfortunate, and maybe pulling out for a slightly wider composition may have worked as well.

However, in these cases, I think just getting an image at a moment like this can be both a challenge and -- a rare and lucky catch.

If I was being picky on post processing, maybe lightening up the shadow on the face and eye just a little could make it pop more. Though it is a natural shot as is and looks great.   Posted: 08/01/2019 08:45:12

Jason has said it all again, I agree about the bottom left corner and if its for a nature competition it needs a bit more space too. Overall a superb image, well done.   Posted: 08/04/2019 11:34:51

I love this, Abdo! I agree with the comments above. Super sharp and super great moment.

Was your big lens on a tripod? Do you know the type of owl this was?

What processing did you use to get such a sharp photo? I'd love to see your original.   Posted: 08/04/2019 19:33:24

thanks brenda and all of you , for your comments about the blurry in left Botton corner it is a rock and I can not avoid it from my angel , we still in car and take photos from the car window , I did not use a tripod cause no place in car , this is " peeping little owl " which live in the rocks .
I attached the original in zero edit , and all post processing done in photoshop   Posted: 08/05/2019 12:52:58

I love this. The capture of him eating would seem difficult to get. You aced it. I would love a telephoto lens but can't afford it on my retirement budget. Ha Ha.

Nice job.   Posted: 08/07/2019 18:05:48
