About the Image(s)
Just as we were coming out of complete lockdown and some of the restrictions were being relaxed, a friend and I wanted to try and catch some early morning mist images. On our way back to town for breakfast these light rays coming through the trees literally screamed "Stop the car and get out Ian". My friend continued driving ahead in his. So I just stood on the side of the road and waited for some cars to come towards me. Taken on Sony a850; Sigma 70-300 at 180mm; f19; 1/20 and hand held. Processed in PS.

We do have similar images. The sun shining through the trees is special.   Posted: 01/13/2021 09:22:49
Ian - What beautiful sun rays! I just love it! I think that if you had not cropped the image, just removed the debris on the left, it might bring even more attention to the light, and less to the car.   Posted: 01/14/2021 05:07:20
Great leading lines image. I love these kinds of images that can take your breath away. Even though it is actual light coming through the trees in upper left, you might consider using the healing brush to remove the. They were just a tad distracting. Otherwise, it is a great image Ian. Well done.   Posted: 01/14/2021 12:15:18
Great capture Ian. I haven't seen very many shots like that with such intense rays. I like the tree in the foreground adding depth to the image. Well done.   Posted: 01/16/2021 14:10:28
