I’m still playing, this time with PP on my phone. For this image, I first transferred it to my phone. Then I used Tiny Planets to create an abstract of the gerbera. Then I used Mirror for the water effect. Then I used Polarr for a border.

You certainly are creative, and tech savvy. I'll bet you have other artistic pursuits, and perhaps a related career. Love the results!   Posted: 08/05/2020 08:44:14

Sanford - Many thanks. Music and math were my pursuits.   Posted: 08/09/2020 06:01:33

Another beautiful image Cyndy. It really is over-the-top creative. The water reflection is outstanding along with the rest of the image.   Posted: 08/05/2020 20:26:28

Jay - thanks, it is fun to manipulate and "play", sometimes.   Posted: 08/09/2020 06:02:31

Cyndy, This is a really fun and creative image. From the edited image I could not tell what flower it was, but it didn't matter. The square, center weighted format works very nicely with this image. Well done.

Heidi - image manipulation is a phase I go through occasionally, and with all the shutdowns, it seemed a perfect time to "play".   Posted: 08/09/2020 06:04:59

Another great image Cyndy. You have again ticked all the artistic boxes and taken an everyday subject and produced an image that is very captivating. Your choice of using a pink flower against a black background strengthens this image. As Heidi said the square format also works very well. I wonder how it would look if you "spun" the flower in the other direction? Clearly, you have too much time on your hands over there.   Posted: 08/07/2020 03:21:37

Ian - thank-you, and between retirement and shutdowns...   Posted: 08/09/2020 06:06:22

Very well done and I think you achieved what you set out to do. I expect ballerinas to come out of the dark hole for a performance of Swan Lake! I don't have any suggestions for improvement.   Posted: 08/14/2020 10:58:20

Trey - Many thanks.

I'm sure you know what I will say Cyndy. A great final result but too much post processing from my point of view.   Posted: 08/17/2020 09:04:47

Jorn - I understand your POV, however I do enjoy the prospects of "playing" in PS.   Posted: 08/27/2020 13:47:38
