About the Image(s)

I took this with my Nikon DSLR 3500 and edited this with my Grandpa on photoshop cc. I don’t remember the lenses I used, or any particulars.

Tyler - I like that you have the placed image in thirds, the foreground, the mountains, the sky. I like the dichotomy of the snow capped peaks and the green meadow with the stream. It's a place I've always wanted to go, so I applaud you!   Posted: 03/07/2020 07:50:47

I agree with Cyndy, good depth of field established with the rocks and foliage in the foreground. Maybe the lower third could be brighter? How about Aurora HDR to manufacture some HDR?   Posted: 03/11/2020 08:11:59

Nice layers and DOF. Were you standing when you took this? Maybe getting closer to the ground/stream would have put more mountain reflection in the water. Like the position of the tallest peak on the 1/3rd line. I might have burned some areas of the mountains and definitely the lower third in front of the pines.   Posted: 03/11/2020 13:34:38

A fine image Tyler. If you open up the image on your computer, "right" mouse click on it, then click properties, then details, you will see all capture details. I tried from here, but it wouldn't give me the details. But back to your photo. Why am I seeing a line across the top and also a change in blue sky tone? Compositionally this is a strong image with good depth of field and sense of location, as mentioned by the others. You should be proud of this one Tyler.   Posted: 03/16/2020 06:13:55

Nice photograph. Great sense of depth with the stream as a foreground element. I also really like the sun on the mountain tops.   Posted: 03/19/2020 10:19:44
