About the Image(s)

This was taken at the American Helicopter Museum in West Chester, Pennsylvania. This is a 26 seat aircraft that takes off like a helicopter, then once airborne, tilts the propellers to change to an airplane. The aircraft is a Bell Boeing V-22 Tilt Rotor Osprey. It was taken with a Pentax K-1 Mark II, f14, 1/320 sec, ISO 160, at 50mm.

Thanks Tyler. It is really an awesome aircraft. Unfortunately you can't tell from the angle of my shot, but the propellers are huge.   Posted: 11/08/2019 15:15:20

A great image Jay. As Tyler said, great colours and contrast. Also, photographing things like this is always fraught with dreaded nasties lurking in the background and frame edges. Your cropping has sufficiently removed all the un-necessary elements and drawn our eyes back to your main subject. You have also included some national identity. Well done.   Posted: 11/07/2019 03:25:10

Good composition and fine perspective you are forced to concentrate on the subject.   Posted: 11/09/2019 04:53:51

I like the composition, showing only part of the aircraft, but with nice lines, and colors.   Posted: 11/10/2019 09:44:48
