About the Image(s)

Used my Dslr 3500. Decided to take some pictures one evening and I thought that this was the best one out of the group. I tried to make it feel as deep country as I could. I grew up in a country family.

Tyler - I like the country feeling of this image, and I think you succeeded in that goal. Compositionally, I like the fog separating the foreground and background. I think, if it were possible, to have omitted the light foreground fence the image would have worked better as that is what my eye goes to first. I really like the solitude and mountain feel of this image, living myself in a densely populated city.   Posted: 05/04/2019 09:19:54

I agree that the fence is distracting; not really part of your story, I don't think. Maybe if you toned it done a little bit, darker and less luminance, it would help since I don't think you can crop it out effectively.   Posted: 05/04/2019 09:49:18

A good image Tyler. In my mind there are country locations and there are wilderness locations. Yes, that fence may be considered a distraction, but by including it and the raised building behind it, showing a human element, you've changed the location from wilderness to country. You were at this location and not me, so I know absolutely zip about what is just out of the frame, but I would have liked to see the fence taken at more of an angle, rather that just straight across and even some horizon along the top of those mountains.   Posted: 05/04/2019 21:43:02

A really nice image. I like the fog, trees and I think the fence adds another interesting element to the picture. Nice work.   Posted: 05/05/2019 22:37:57

There are a lot of lines and contours in this image, so the fence and hunting blind provide a great contrast to the contours of nature, and the fog, well that's the cream in the coffee.   Posted: 05/10/2019 10:18:21
