About the Image(s)

This is a wind blur of a group of poppies. This was made with my Canon 5DSR. 100mm macro lens at f 32 1/10 sec, ISO 50. I liked the form and motion of the poppies but didn’t like the distracting background. In PS, I darkened the background to eliminate the distraction of the grasses and used curve layers to brighten, improve contrast and deepen the color. I also rotated the POV 180 degrees.

An interesting image and I enjoy how you are always experimenting with different concepts. I like the diagonal line of the subject, but to me, the final image is too dark and lacks separation from the background.   Posted: 05/18/2020 21:36:10
