A very cute image of a colorful subject. I like how you used the shutter speed to freeze the stream of water and depth of field to blur the background.

In my opinion, the highlights appear over exposed and the house finch is a little soft. I think the image could be strengthened by moving the main subjects out of the center of the image and by adding some vignetting in the corners.   Posted: 08/12/2019 09:48:30

You've chosen a great subject- birds at the watering hole. The DOF is good and the colors are nice.

A crop that allowed for more of the stream of water, in my opinion would better support your image. While you may have some constraints to deal with as you work that out, your image doesn't have to be landscape. Good luck!
