This picture has an interesting composition with the two diagonal lines that give a dynamic feeling. To me, the image has more a graphical look than a landscape look. I would therefore enhanced the contrast in the mid tone areas to make it more abstract. You may make several versions of this picture with different post-processing techniques.
I think the colour version can also be worked on to go a more abstract direction.   Posted: 01/03/2021 01:25:46

Happy New Year! I agree with your comments. Thank you.   Posted: 01/03/2021 13:21:57
An impressive landscape looks like a painting. Do you know the meaning of yellow soil, can it be sulfur mix? That's true, bnw conversion did its best to enhance details; but I enjoyed color version a bit more. I cannot guess your altitude, -apart from ground shots- can you advise us on relation between altitude, your flight speed and shutter speed? Thanks for sharing Ying, have a happy and healthy new year?   Posted: 01/03/2021 03:44:23
Happy New Year!
In saline alkaline lakes, the water source is mainly brine hot springs, and the water quality is sodium carbonate brine. A large amount of trona is produced due to perennial evaporation and precipitation. Especially in the rainy season, carbonic acid compounds with various colors appear on the lake surface.
I am not sure about the relation between altitude, flight speed and shutter speed. I just used higher shutter speed.   Posted: 01/03/2021 13:41:31

Hi Ying, Happy New Year!
It looks like a painting on the earth like Nazca Lines.
Although I look at it hundreds time, it still looks like a flying dragon.
Actually I prefer B&W version better.
You might want to increase contrast to make it dynamic outlook.
But overall great shot! Well done!
