About the Image(s)

The original image of the hummingbird was taken in Costa Rica. The new background was developed by creating a 60 degree mandala design from the original image. I faded the design and I then layered the hummingbird, extracted from the original image, to sit in the center.

The final design needed a bit of noise reduction which I did with dfine2 by Nik Software.

Mary, once again you illustrate us of different ways to present an image. Somehow, in the repetitions the noise is much obvious and yes, it creates a nice frame for the hummingbird.   Posted: 03/17/2023 17:12:14

I rechecked the file and I had uploaded the wrong file. Here is the one with noise reduction applied to the background.

In today's world we are overloaded with images, so taking this creative path brings an entirely different approach to nature. Good color, nicely done. The noice reduction makes a difference.   Posted: 03/24/2023 08:37:02

Hi Mary, you have presented a very creative image this month. The noise reduction makes the image less distracting and the mandala framed the bird presenting it in a fresh and different approach.   Posted: 03/27/2023 05:28:29
